Hospital Support (HS)

To keep a hospital up and running you need a lot of equipment. From dental chairs to blood pressure monitors and generators, everything has to be functional and ready to use. We support the hospital technicians with the maintenance and repair of medical devices and offer training on electrical safety. At the moment, our focus lies on supporting dental departments and establishing dental laboratories and maternity wards. We also offer hospitals the opportunity to keep track of their medical equipment with our TwB Swift app.

We are about 20 active members participating in local groups in Erlangen, Ansbach and Ludwigshafen. So far, 15 projects have been realized in Ghana, Nicaragua, Rwanda and Nepal. In our next project, we will build a new workshop at a Ghanaian hospital.

Until now, we have implemented the following projects in our group:

Ghana

Nepal

Ruanda

Nicaragua

Some others projects are also being planned.

Installation

Installation

In these projects, we install further equipment in hospitals. We’ve already set up two dental chairs and provided medical devices for a maternity ward.

Maintenance

Maintenance of an incubator

In Germany, we prepare trainings for the local technicians. Once we are abroad, we inform them by giving workshops, help with repairs and support the hospital with general problems like waste management if needed.

TwB Swift App

TwB Swift App

We developed an app for the inventory of medical devices. It helps the local technicians to keep track of the medical devices, pending maintenances and broken devices.
